Hi there! I'm an ambitious individual who wears two hats: a 👨‍💻 software engineer and a 👨‍🏫 STEM teacher.

As a senior Computer Science major at 🏫 San Jose State University in the Bay Area, I'm currently immersed in academia. However, my experience extends far beyond the classroom.

Even though I am a student, I have 5️⃣ years of industry experience. My professional journey began in 2018 with my first freelance web developing job. Currently, I work as a full-stack software engineer and a STEM teacher. As an engineer, I have worked for 🏢 companies, 🚀 startups, and volunteered at an 🌍 NGO. As a STEM teacher, I teach elementary students for early technology understanding and high school students at different high schools.

My interests lie in applying various 🛠️ engineering techniques, for example, design patterns, algorithms, and data structures. I'm particularly passionate about building highly reliable backend applications. I also enjoy 🌐 system design and deploying 📈 scalable applications that can handle large user bases and huge traffic flows.

Originally from 🇭🇰 Hong Kong, I bring a unique cultural perspective to my work. Being fluent in 🗣️ English, Cantonese, and Mandarin has enhanced my ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and clients.
